It is the intent of A-1 Facility Services, Inc. to comply with all laws. To do this we must constantly be aware of conditions in all work areas that can produce injuries. No employee is required to work at a job he or she knows is not safe or healthy. Your cooperation in detecting hazards and, in turn, controlling them is a condition of your employment. Inform your supervisor immediately of any situation beyond your ability or authority to correct.

The prevention of injuries and illnesses is of such consequence that precedence over operating productivity whenever necessary. To the greatest degree possible, management will provide all mechanical and physical facilities required for personal safety and health in keeping with the highest standards.

A-1 Facility Services, Inc. employs a proactive approach to janitorial services by taking preventive measures before the level of performance becomes unsatisfactory. Our rigorous quality control practices allow us to implement operational changes needed to correct issues and improve work processes, thereby minimizing and preventing the occurrence of cleaning deficiencies. We focus on the following performance measurements to ensure the quality of our services:
Preventive Maintenance Plan Schedule: A chart of task frequencies that the custodial staff of each facility is expected to be developed and followed to ensure that the requirements of the contract are met or exceeded. The Preventive Maintenance Plan precludes cleaning deficiencies through optimal task frequency along with tight supervision and work monitoring, a uniform, high quality of service throughout your facility.
Quality Control Inspection Program: To ensure that the quality meets or exceeds your expectations, our team of Quality Control and Safety Inspectors will perform thorough, regular inspections of the quality and safety practices. Scheduled and unscheduled inspections ensure that all contract requirements are met. All inspection findings are documented and addressed with the custodial staff.
* Lead inspects each daily
* Manager performs weekly inspections
* Quality Control and Safety Inspector (Manager) inspects and rates the facility a minimum of once per quarter
Tracking Requests and Issues: Our service call system tracks all cleaning requests and issues to determine trends, frequency of issues, measure the performance of our on-site crew. It identifies each issue/request by date, any corrective action taken, well how quickly the issue/request was addressed by the appropriate. This serves as a check on the quality of performance of our managers and on-site crew in conducting their day-to-day activities at your facilities.
